My First Icon!
Ok, so it's nowhere near the standard of you guys, but give us a break - it's my first one. I changed a whole lot of settings from the original screen cap too, so I'm fairly proud of my first go. It's simple. Of course I will want to get a bit more complicated as I go, but for a first one, I didn't want to go too crazy and make it awful.I have to say, I don't know how to put those torn pages, etc. effects into Photoshop so I can use them. Could someone point me in the direction of how to do that? I tried to do it, but I don't think it worked. I'll have to check.Anyway, that's all.

Cool! I love it.Simple is good anyway, otherwise they can get too cluttered, like my latest ones.You put the abr (brushes) file into my programs/adobe/ oh hang on I will have to check... Here you go - Programs/adobe/photoshop 7.0/presets/brushes/adobe photoshop only. They go in there. It also pays to put different people's brushes in folders or you get in a right muddle. don't forget to put credit for brushes caps etc somewhere, or some bods get bent outta shape about it.
Oh right. Where do you put credit for people, though? And I don't know where those ones you sent me came from, either. Cool! You are actually asking me where I got the brushes from?????? LOLOLOL Just ask ses, she'll tell you. *giggles* No seriously, I'm not sure - oh yes I remember... I will email you the addy for those extra ones I sent. If you want anymore brushes go to my site and click on acknowledgements, there are some really cool resources there.And no hiding your work, we need to see it. Some people post there credits in a post and then put it into memories, I think that is how it works. All my credits go on my site.
